Doors - Kochi Diaries

Standing in front of me was a series of doors. One after the other. The more I try to run, the more I run into them. It was like a never-ending maze. Nothing chased after me, but I kept running from darkness into darkness. All I wanted was to find my way out. I saw the light from afar; the more I got closer to it, the farther it seemed. I knew I couldn't make it. I thought I would be stuck. Forever.

Then, I sat down, and rested my face on the cold floor. Nothingness encompassed me. I felt light, like I was floating.

Something moved and touched my feet; I woke up startled, and back on my bed. Safe. I was finally home.
