A long-forgotten memory
Some songs bring back fragments of the past that you thought were forgotten. You know you’ve got memories attached to it but can’t precisely recollect them. Perhaps you were happy then, or maybe you were in a terrible place. And when you hear it again after several years, there’s this seemingly irresistible urge to recall the agony behind it, but also a feeling that it’s all over encompasses you. So on days like these, when the skies are grey and the nights are cold, I sit here in the cozy corner of my home, strumming and humming to a long-forgotten memory.
