Among all the ruins that stood still,

like mummified bodies with dust from over the past centuries, 

the one that quite intrigued me, was the eye of the kingdom, a fortress in a defensive territory,

Standing tall at the corners,

Still watching, reminiscing the age of the empire,

All that was missing,

Was the keeper and his clan.
